Lord Huron’s “The Night We Met” Soars to The Top of the Charts, 2 Years Following Release
Recent Success Comes After Being Featured on Netflix Original Series, “13 Reasons Why”
Two years after its original release, Lord Huron’s “The Night We Met” has soared to the top of the charts again, thanks to being showcased on the hit Netflix Original Series, “13 Reasons Why”. Just one week out from the show’s release, the track had gained over 1 Million new streams on Apple Music (9,105% increase), over 2.55 Million new streams on Spotify (5,500% increase), a 42,000% increase in Shazams and over 5,685 new Lord Huron stations were added to Pandora.
Additionally, Twitter mentions are still averaging 100 mentions an hour, and Lord Huron’s Facebook page view count has increased by 3,000% since the show debuted on 3/31.
The massive increase has resulted in track sales increasing an average of 14,000% and the song charting No. 4 on the iTunes Alt Chart and No. 4 on Spotify’s Global Viral Chart.
